"I think you need to just close the fucking chapter on him even if it was long enough to be a fucking novel itself. You’ve cried over this boy so many times before, when are you going to put yourself first? When are you going to realize this is not what you deserve? When you were little would you have ever wished this for yourself? Why are you putting yourself through this? You are so goddamn important and he is a fucking idiot who didn’t deserve to know you the way he did. Let him go, let him go, let him go. There is nothing more you can do."

For @sixpenceee

I found this place in a very small town in North Carolina called Tuxedo. It’s an abandoned elementary school, which seems like had been abandoned suddenly. It’s littered with desks and books and papers. According to this website (source at the bottom), “up until 2004 and 2005, it was the county’s alternative school for students who failed to thrive or prevented others from thriving.” The place is riddled with creepy things, like eerie writing on the wall, and an particularly ominous device (pictured above) that almost looks like a torture device.

On the chalkboard pictured above it says “to those who may enter this place, to those may have memories, or to those who may want to take advantage: leave this place, nothing’s here.”

Another way to present the 9 types of intelligence as exemplified by my How Do We Measure Intelligence post.

The basic idea is that different people are good at different things. These 9 probably don’t cover the wide range of smarts we all possess, but it’s a start.

As Albert Einstein said, ”Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
